We aren't tHe type to go foR regular oil chanGes, tire rotaTions, etc. and so we've doNe none other than....yEs....ignoRe it. It lights up everytiMe i turn on the cAr, but I tell mySelf it will gO off one of tHese days. I should proBably give in and taKe it to a sHop but I dO not want to sEe their rePair estimate.

from my experience it will stay on until your car is no longer fixable. Or until the price of the bill is more than the worth of your car.
my brake light in my car has been on for months too! i really hate car problems and forking out money to fix them. uuggg!
