Flashback Friday

This is going WAY back to when I was 14 months old (December 1984). I wish I could remember my life at this age. I'm sure it was pure bliss.

Generally, when we thank our Mom's on Mother's Day we express our gratitude for the more important things in life; always being there when we needed them or letting us cry on their shoulder when we're hurt or sad. As this Mother's Day is approaching, I want to thank my Mom for all of the baths, sleepless nights, bed time stories, home-cooked meals and other seemingly insignificant things she did for me throughout the years. I wouldn't be who I am today if it wasn't for her.

Just when you think they've gone unnoticed. Thanks Mom! I love you!

That is so cute! I wish I had all my old pictures handy, but they are at Mom and Dads. I love all of it and I only hope my kids feel the same way because those "seemingly insignificant" things are sometimes the hardest things to do over and over again.

I remember the last 24 years as if it were yesterday. You were such a joy and still are! Thanks for being such a wonderful daughter AND friend.

You were a CUTE baby!! I can't wait for you and Erik to reproduce. Your kids are going to be gorgeous. The little things are really the things that seem to go unnoticed so that is cute that you would think to thank your mom for all that.

That is so sweet! I hope that my kids say that to me one day because those are the things (like staying up all night with them) that make you have wrinkles under your eyes and make you feel a little crazy!
