Flashback Friday

This picture exemplifies my two favorite things as a child; reading and my snazzy red tights.

My Mom tells me that as a young child, I tried to wear my red tights every single day. After many tries of throwing them away and me digging them out again, she finally put them in the actual garbage can outside. Apparently, I watched the dump truck arrive one morning and started crying when I "saw" my red tights get thrown into the dumpster. I got over it eventually.

My other favorite thing to do was read. My parents say that I could read the newspaper by age five. I must have got all my reading in at a young age, because at this point, I really don't care to read that much. Maybe I'll start back up again when I'm no longer forced to read boring textbooks.

I love that picture! A picture of you in your red tights is priceless. I remember the day the garbage man took them away. It's unbelievable how similar you look to Avery in that picture! I almost thought it was her for a second.

That is so great that your mom took a picture of the red tights. Bree does that with a skirt and I am to the point of throwing it away!!

What great memories! I always look forward to 'Flashback Fridays'. Pictures of everyday things are sometimes more priceless than the posed ones. Remember that when you have children.
