Nature At It's Finest

One of the things on my list to do this fall, was to drive the Nebo Loop Scenic Byway. It is a 40 mile drive that starts in Payson and ends in Nephi. I discovered it online one day and they said it was "a photographer's dream". Boy were they right! Can you believe those colors? I was in total awe!
As the drive took us higher into the mountains, we began to see less colors because it was a little too late in the year. I highly recommend doing this around the end of September when the colors are really saturated and they have yet to fall off the trees. Here is the view from one of the many "outlooks" as we got a little bit higher. The view is still gorgeous.
The highest point of the drive takes you to about 9,000 feet in elevation, which is only about 3,000 feet below the summit of Mt. Nebo.
On our way back down, we passed what they call "Mini Bryce Canyon". I hope to make it to "big" Bryce Canyon soon. Amazing!
We only went about 25 mph on the byway so we could soak in everything around us. By the time we got home, it was five hours later. I can't wait to do this again and if you've never gone before...put it on your list for next year. This should not be missed!

Fantastic pictures! That is an area we have been on the ATV and loved it. I miss the autumn colors. Bermuda is the same green all year round. I never thought I'd get tired of green.

Hi Tanya! K so we are looking at getting a puppy for christmas. And possibly a shorkie like yours, or a yorkie, shitzu, or maltese. Not real picky I just like them small furry, non shedding and cute! So from your experience is a puppy really hard to deal with? We want to get one for Christmas for our girls but I will have a 6 week old new baby at the same time so I'm a little nervous of what a puppy entails. Since you've been through it maybe you could give me some advice? What is it like to have a puppy? Are they really a big pain? Are they hard to train? and anything else! Thanks!
