Another Day at the Zoo

In early November, the kids and I spent the afternoon at Hogle Zoo with some friends. We love going to the zoo, and this occasion, was no different. This trip was a little more special for me than most.

First, because I noticed that Claire is the same size as a child gorilla and Ethan is the same size as an infant. Too cute!

 
The second reason I loved this trip to the zoo was because I got this darling snapshot of me and the kids (taken by my friend, Julie) . A good photo of me and the kids is hard to come by, so when I saw this gem, I was ecstatic. Both kids looking at the camera and (sort of) smiling? A miracle! Thanks Julie! We had a blast with you guys and can't wait to go again (when it gets warmer of course).
